A gorgeous instrumental track of The Point of No Return. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about which orchestra recorded and released this track. If anyone has this information, please message us and we will provide due credit.
Also, please do not link/share outside of Tumblr. Thank you!
EDIT: thephantomof asked oldschoolphantoms:The PONR instrumental is from the Charttraxx karaoke Phantom of the Opera CD. Unfortunately it does not say the orchestra, but that is where it’s from.
Thank you, Monsieur!
Amazing!
The original scale models of the proscenium design forThe Phantom of the Opera, created by Maria Bjornson. It appears that the one in the top photo is for Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, while the second photo is styled after The Majestic Theatre in New York.
Day 13: Favorite ALW Phantom
Michael Crawford. There is no contest. He understood that character better than anybody has or ever will, and his voice ranges from angelic to terrifying, changing from one to the other within seconds when he wants it to. In clips of his performances as the Phantom where he’s singing MOTN, it truly looks like he has complete control and power over Christine.
I could go on and on about why I love Michael’s Phantom so much, but I’ll just say this instead: you see that Tony he’s got there? He deserved that thing.
